Transamerica has launched the next generation of Long Term Care Insurance product – which reflects the current realities of the marketplace, while providing producers with the flexibility and benefits their clients need.  We continue to believe there is a tremendous opportunity for long term care solutions that are easy to sell – we are pleased to announce with Transamerica, that effective September 10, 2013, TransCare III is available for sale in all Interstate Compact states, which include: AL, AK, CO, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NH, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY

What’s New?

• Gender based pricing – single women will be more expensive
• Tailored Benefit Increase Option Rider – 5% compound to age 60, 3% compound ages 61-75, and zero at age 76
• Elimination Period Credit Rider – applies home care and adult day care days toward the facility elimination period
• Couples no longer need identical benefits to get the couples discount
